This is excluding cars and other things you can stand on. you can literally roll forever through zombie crowds even at lv 1 and be perfectly safe. Grab a spin based blade weapon/combo if you really wanna take it easy.ģ.)Rolling. However, even without vehicles once I got used to the game roughly by end of Chapter 2 I noticed I no longer felt any threat walking around the city just searching for blueprints/collectibles because.ġ.) Flare gun super OP (8 shots, easy to find or grab from locker for cheap, long duration anti-zombie tool for very large area).Ģ.) Blade weapons are common and super powerful, particularly the Beam Sword. I guess you could say weapon durability when not using the saw if you wrecklessly walk around without a vehicle in the underground parking lot of the mall in DR1 was dangerous. Clown saw/LMG if you really wanna be lazy. Slice as necessary (knive gloves were really great for this and easy to make in pairs). DR2 grab a blade weapon and walk around them as much as you need. Not enough to be an issue except in one part of the mall (Alfresca Plaza I believe it was). Also DR1 just spam any Queen Bees you find while keeping at least 1-2 extra and walk around the rest of the zombies. ~Vehicles do make getting everywhere super easy.
DEAD RISING 3 MAP OF BLUEPRINTS HOW TO
Yes, combo guns are too strong but so are blade weapons even against bosses if you know how to dodge and what to do. minigun = single most OP item in the entire game against bosses) are pretty weak. The basic ones except LMG and Downloadable (cough. Guns are OP in DR3, but only the combo ones.

~LMG in DR2 was super powerful and was easy enough to get to. Clown mini chain saw + book stacking was OP as well in DR1 letting you kill 2k+ zombies before one saw broke. General rule in any DR game is carry enough food for when you get low and in DR1/2 carry 1-2 Queen Bees to make life more doable in rough spots. Flare gun is blatantly overpowered and easy enough to get throughout the city. The only drawback is less durability compared to combo/super combo but with the right points you can easily combo most blades you find quickly which also heals durability. Bladed weaponry is plentiful and has always been super powerful in each game.
DEAD RISING 3 MAP OF BLUEPRINTS PORTABLE
Can't get portable weapon locker until level 50+.

~Weapon lockers aren't that big of a deal. Heck, short of trying to save EVERY survivor in DR1 I don't see how you could have any issues. ~ The ability to make combo food anywhere you wishĭoes anyone else think this? I like DR3 and all, but it is WAY too easy for a Dead rising game.ĭR1 & 2 were incredibly easy. ~ Level 50 Nick is ridiculously strong compared to Lvl 50 Chuck and Frank from their respective games It's more of a "classic" mode because it changes the game so it plays like DR1/2, so it's not really that big of a difficulty jump ~ Nightmare mode isn't a nightmare it's still as easy as the regular story mode. ~ Vehicles make getting everywhere super easy when before you would have to walk through the huge hordes of zombies to get from one place to another (in DR2 you could get vehicles but all except 1 of them cost a ♥♥♥♥load of money and aren't worth it unless you're trying for the zombie kill achievements ~ Guns have been majorly buffed and are the best weapons in DR3, to the point that you could literally only use split shot in nightmare mode and you would be fine outside of bosses

~ Weapon Lockers always giving you access to the best weapons (It gets worse later on when you have a portable weapon locker) DR3 is incredibly easy compared to DR1/2 and it's kind of a let-down.
